Watch Live: Felix Baumgartner Jumps From More Than 120,000 Feet in the Air

He’s no Joe Kittinger, but jumping from outer space is still impressive, nonetheless. Love that the color commentators are actually talking about Kittinger and the other daredevils that came before Baumgartner.

Update: Well, he didn’t die. The 43-year-old Austrian has broken the record for the highest ever skydive by jumping out of a balloon 128,000 ft. (24 miles, natch) above New Mexico like a BOWSE. He was also trying to break the sound barrier during his descent, although that mark awaits confirmation.

Update 2: Here’s the video of the jump.
