It’s pretty clear the Red Sox owners are the wink link in the organization. Not that Epstein was the greatest general manager (solid on drafting and evaluating young talent, lousing at signing high-priced free agents), but geez, how do you cast off your GM and owner just because the team went 7-20 in the last month of the season?
