David Layman, a science teacher, and others members of the Facebook group “Unofficial Breaking Bad Fan Tour” were inspired to purchase a paid death notice in theAlbuquerque Journal for the one who knocks. That’s pretty brilliant on so many levels.
Update: Not surprisingly, this piece of content drove boffo traffic to the ABQ Journal website. According to Jim Romenesko: “The obit was the the paper’s most-read online story since 2006, when it began using Google Analytics to track traffic. […] Traffic to the obit was about 60 times that of a typical daily top story on the Journal’s website.” [via buzzfeed]
