The photos was taken at the London Toy Fair and the animation looks alright. Certainly nothing to be alarmed about. It’s certainly a relief that the teenage Lion-O isn’t wearing a unitard wrestling outfit with a snazzy belt anymore. Plus — Cheetara? Still kinda hot for an animated cat-human hybrid being.
The new version, courtesy of Cartoon Network and the WB, will have a more simplified mythology (not that it was that complicated to beging with). No word on whether or not the show’s intro will still have a bitchin’ guitar solo from Eddie Van Halen. [via bleedingcool]
