BBC’s Sherlock Gets a Second Season

Good news!  The excellent BBC modernized Sherlock just got rewarded for a second season.  It would be easy to write the show off for “modernizing” Sherlock Holmes, but somehow this variation comes eerily close to Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional detective.  The first season was only three-episodes long (about 1.5 hours per) and more like a tv movie (credit director Paul McGuigan) than anything else.

Highly recommended.
