The Nightman Cometh to a city near you

Back in April we were both surprised and excited by the stealth live-performance of The Nightman Cometh by the gang from FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  The best sitcom on TV, hands down.

There’s a certain sadness when you realize you’ve missed out on what seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime, had-to-be-there theatrical event.

Now it seems, according to TV Screener, that it won’t be a one-time performance.  The gang has decided to take The Nightman Cometh on tour to promote the season five premiere on September 17.

The live show will take place in:

Boston, at the House of Blues, on Sept. 15
New York City, at the Beacon Theater, on Sept. 16
Upper Darby, PA, at the Tower Theater, on Sept. 17
Seattle, at the Moore Theater, on Sept. 22
San Francisco, at the Nob Hill Masonic Center, on Sept. 24
And in Los Angeles, at the Hollywood Palladium, on Sept. 25

Word is, the NYC show also includes the season premiere episode.  Tickets for all the performances officially go on sale tomorrow, August 7.  Get them fast, because the last live performance sold out in a matter of minutes.

Who’s with me for driving up to Seattle?
