Family Guy Empire Strikes Back Parody Trailer

I don’t remember the last time I sat down and consciously watched an episode of The Family Guy. The show just doesn’t do it for me anymore, but, I recognize that their Star Wars parody Blue Harvest was pretty nifty and now they have a follow-up tackling Empire Strikes Back with Something, Something, Something, Dark Side.

The hour-long special will be released on DVD and Blu-ray December 22. A TV airdate has been tentatively set for May 23, 2010.

      Okay, this trailer for "Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side" is pretty cute, but it leaves me wondering if Seth McFarlane's second foray into the Star Wars universe will be as funny as his first effort, "Blue Harvest". We'll see December 22.
