He's enjoyable and I can imagine him being at least as enjoyable as Jimmy Kimmel. But, having not watched Conan religiously since Andy Richter left, the bigger question to me is whether or not Conan's humor will translate to the earlier 11:30 p.m. time slot? Seems like the same people who like Leno don't much <i>get</i> Conan's non-sequitors. Fallon, though not funny in movies/sketches, has a certain charm to him.
