Scott Baio is 45 … and Single

Seems Chachi doesn’t really love Joanie. Seems he loves a lot of woman. Regardless, the actor best known for roles as Charles in Charge, and um, as Bob Loblaw from Arrested Development, and um, turning down the role of Maverick in Top Gun, and um, I guess he was in Charles in Charge, is set to star in his very own VH1 celebreality show.

So the ever lovable Scott Baio is at a cross-roads, he’s surprise! 45 and single and trying to figure out what went wrong in his life with the help of a life coach.

Not nearly as humorous as say, watching Danny Bonneducci shoot ‘roids or even Tom Sizemore getting hopped up on Meth, but this one should prove to provide hillarity all while making us feel better about our own sordid lives.

Baio will confront old girlfriends to get his life together, and he’ll even be abstinent! Good luck with that buddy.

From the press release:

With nowhere else to turn, Scott has decided to fully surrender the next eight weeks of his life to a highly-regarded life-coach. This person will guide him on a grueling, soul-searching mission; forcing him to confront a laundry list of old flames in order to hopefully get to the heart of his lonely heart condition.

Each episode, he will have to confront another chapter from his semi-sordid past, by actually reconnecting with some of his most substantial and combustible flames in order to get the bottom of his bad-boy behavior.

With the help of his long-time pals, Scott will be able to successfully sift through the wreckage of his past, and endure an assortment of life-altering activities, (including abstinence), in order to finally earn the chance at actually maintaining a meaningful, stable, healthy relationship.

Maybe the Fonz will show up with a thumbs up and make everything better with the snap of his fingers?

Scott Baio is 45 … and Single premieres July 15 at 10:30 p.m.

p.s. Maybe the Fonz can show up and throw around some “ehs” and a few thumb ups just to help the cause.? Is that too much to ask.? Nor is it too much to ask to get a Corey Haim/Corey Feldman television show?? Don’t we deserve this?? Don’t we need this?
