Improv Everywhere set up a photo studio inside a Subway car and convinced people that they were commissioned to take photos of all passengers for use in a year book.
Most people were happy to have their photo taken as you can seen below:

Surprise Wedding Reception, the latest mission by Improv Everywhere.
For our latest mission, we picked a random couple getting married at the City Clerk’s Office in Manhattan and threw them a surprise wedding reception. The couple was treated to dancing, toasts, cake, and gifts, all with complete strangers.
Spreading joy. Even the cynic in me hasn’t gotten tired of these do-gooding ninjas at Improv Everywhere.

50 Improv Everywhere agents take to the 23rd Street subway platform in Manhattan, where they proceed to admire the pipes, electrical boxes, trash cans, and other commuters as if they were works of art. Postmodern hilarity at its finest.

Improv Everywhere’s latest. A man touches 2,000 people in NYC without asking and they like it.
In terms of their past acomplishments, this is actually pretty lame. But it’s proof that everybody likes doling out the high five.

I think it’s an obligation to post everything these guys do. “Welcome Back” the latest Improv Everywhere mission featured 20 IE agents personally welcoming home complete strangers as they arrive at JFK airport. But the big question is why is Emmett Smith, Super Bowl-winning running back and Dallas Cowboys great, picking people up at the airport?

Improv Everywhere are back with their latest. They hired a bunch of identical twins to ride the subway and pretend to be mirror images of each other.
It’s not as immediately likable as say, Food Court Musical or even Little League Baseball Game, but I bet it woulda been neat to experience this in person. A bit perplexing for the NYC subway riders, but if you were one of the participants how could you not smile on the inside?

Improve Everywhere has staged a musical number inside a Los Angeles food court.
We used wireless microphones to amplify the vocal performances and mix them together with the music through the malls PA system. We filmed the mission with hidden cameras, mostly behind two-way mirrors. Apart from our performers, no one in the food court was aware of what was happening. Enjoy the video first and then go behind the scenes with our report below.
Nutty. The best part of the whole affair is the reactions from the crowd. They are simultaneously perplexed and overjoyed, unsure who is apart of this. If you head over to their website, they have an extensive behind-the-scenes look at how they accomplished this feat.
