Stan Lee, Neal Adams and Joe Kubert help Holocaust victim

Comics legends have banded together to aid Holocaust-survivor and artist Dina Gottliebova Babbitt. She survived two years at Auschwitz by painting watercolors for the infamous Dr. Joseph Mangele. Some of her surviving artwork is located at he Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum in Poland. Babbitt has attempted to reclaim her rightful property since 2006, but the museum won’t give it back. Enter the comic gods who wrote, obviously, a comic to illustrate her plight. ?I?m at a total loss,? Mrs. Babbitt wrote in an e-mail message. ?I feel just as helpless as I did when I was at camp. Totally disempowered.?

Live reenactments of Garfield

Probably the strangest thing I’ve seen all week. I’ve finally decided that life has jumped the shark after watching this bizzareness (yup it gets two zees).

Lasagna Cat is a one man show, wherein the person reenacts Garfield comic strips. At the end of every video is an even stranger musical video that is somehow pertinent to the comic.

So yes, officially, I’m not sure whether I’m bemused or just actually amused, either way this is Jim’s look of bewilderment and plea for someone to pass the drugs. Via: Whitney
