The latest xkcd comic features several insanely detailed Movie Narrative Charts showing the character interactions in various films. Here’s a larger version.
The charts graph time on a horizontal axis and then how each character interacts with another at any given time. It’s a very cool way to visualize the plot of a movie — especially the convoluted Primer.

How Americans spend their day.
Fascinating chart that looks at how Americans over the age of 15 spend every minute of every day. Basically it boils down to eat, sleep, work, watching television, cleaning the house. Yup, sounds pretty much like my day.

This chart breaksdown the Harry Potter films’s U.S. box office. Oh and the new one, that seemed to b0ttom out after it’s huge haul from opening day midnight shows? The one that came out three weeks ago? It already has a worldwide gross of $755 million.
The blue dots represent the newest movie, which is ahead of the curve.

FYI: Another great pop culture chart from Dan Meth – the dude behind the Trilogy Meter. I think kitchen on the right, living room on the left takes it, but I’m torn. How can you resist The Golden Girls?
