Wealth Inequality in America

The video above is noted without comment courtesy of Mashable.

And then there’s this, from The Atlantic: “The Dow Jones industrial average is poised to set a new record as corporate profits stretch to all-time highs. There are still fewer working Americans today than there were before the start of the Great Recession. The fact that these two things can be true at the same time might outrage you. But it shouldn’t surprise you.”

All of which is to say that if this were the reality on other countries there would be worse riots than Occupy Wall Street, which was explained by Calvin and Hobbes, by the way.

Anyway, what to make of all this? Smarter people than me get paid to figure this shit out, but it seems worth noting.
