Don’t take it from me, but listen to the likes of Bill Gates (Microsoft/Philanthropy), Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Jack Dorsey (Square), Tony Hsieh (Zappos), Drew Houston (Dropbox), Gabe Newell (Valve/Steam), and um, Chris Bosh (Not LeBron James or Dwayne Wade) and Will.i.am (sometime hologram, occasional Black Eyed Pea) on the importance of learning to computer program in school.

The effort is driven by Code.org, part of Khan Academy, which also has several great resources.
