TED Launches Animated TED-Ed Channel

The goal of TED-Ed is to pair educators and animators together in an effort to create a series of lesson-based animated shorts aimed at teachers and high school students. Like this one on symbioses, for example.

The Next Web has more info about plans for TED-Ed. The program officially launches next month, and they’re already soliciting reel submissions from animators.

Does anyone else feel like there’s going to be a seismic change in education over the next decade? You can almost feel the changes in the air through technology.
