Four Decades of Vegas Sprawl

In honor of the 28th anniversary of Landsat 5‘s launch on March 1, NASA has posted a video depicting Las Vegas’s urban sprawl over the past four decades through the use of “false-color, multispectral imagery,” according to MSNBC. Want to see how your own town or city has changed between 1975 and 2000? This makes for a nice bookend to the post about income inequality and the future of metropolises.
