Ten Months of NYT’s Frontpages

“Due to an errant cron task that ran twice an hour from September 2010 to July 2011, I accidentally collected about 12,000 screenshots of the front page of the nytimes.com.” — Phillip Mendonça-Vieira, on his nearly seven minute time-lapse video.

The last ten months have been pretty hectic, news-wise. “Some memorable events to watch for: The Chilean mining accident @ 0:39; Arab Spring @ 3:38; and the Japanese Tsunami @ 4:54,” writes The Daily What.

The shots come fast and furious though. Also? The music is by Justice, the song is “Phenosphere 1.”
