Andreas Gursky’s “Rhein II” is officially the world’s most expensive photograph after fetching $4.3 million at Christie’s. Maybe one day I’ll get it, but I’d really love to know what drove this particular photo to such a high price. It’s a lovely photo, but not $4.3 million lovely. [via AtlanticWire]
