The New York Times stopped automating their twitter feed, and now has two human editors manning the station. The differences are not that surprising, but this brief look at the differences by 10,000 Words is good insight for any media publication.

We use an automated twitter feed for Sly Oyster stories and though I loath it, it’s necessary since this is a one man operation and between operating the Facebook, Twitter and my day job, plus trying to prime the content pump here, I just don’t have enough brain cells to implement a different approach.
