Google Uses George Costanza’s Stuffed Wallet to Promote New Service

Google’s ready to launch Google Wallet at some point in the near future. Essentially, Google Wallet will be a near field communication payment system.

It looks like the entire thing works in the same manner as the E-ZPass transponders that allow you to pay for tolls and zip right through without stopping. There isn’t a launch date, and we don’t care much one way or the other about the technology (Apple is supposedly baking in NFC on future versions of the iPhone, so this very well could be the future of payment systems), but anytime 13-year-old Seinfeld references can help promote future technology we’re all for that.
