The Gettysburg Address as Art

Adam Gault and Stephanie Augustine turned Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address into a work or striking art featuring the voice of Mitch Rapoport.

Coincidentally: Ta-Nehisi Coates, as a fine a blogger as you will read, has written about the American Civil War for The Atlantic for a few years now.  It’s one of his recurring topics of interest, aside from the culture, politics, and societal issues he generally writes about (though some would argue that the Civil War encompasses all of those topics).

A reader has now compiled links for all of them, some 200 or so articles, which is a straight shot of history porn. There is also a page of recommendations for those unfamiliar with his posts that will help first-time readers discover several resources mentioned in his discussions.
