Newsweek Finds A Buyer

This is not from The Onion, but it’s depressing nonetheless: “The beleaguered American magazine Newsweek has been saved from imminent demise by 91-year-old audio equipment tycoon Sidney Harman. He is reported to have purchased the title last night from the Washington Post Company for the token price of one U.S. dollar (he also assumes Newsweek’s liabilities). No word yet on whether Harman’s ever heard of the internet.”

That can’t be right, can it?  A token price of a dollar?
