Microsoft’s New Phone

If you’re going to jump into the mobile phone game post-iPhone/Android/HTC, you can’t have awful industrial designers. 

No matter how great the OS for Microsoft’s KIN may be, no one’s going to buy this phone.  It looks like a toy from Fisher-Price.

And the notion of making a phone “social”, I think, misses the boat for what people really want their phones to be.  Then again, I’m not a 13-year-old girl, which I surmise is the target audience for this phone.
