Google’s Body Browser

The Body Browser is the latest Google mapping project, but instead of the planet or the streets, Mountain View has tackled the intricacies of the human body.  I can certainly imagine something like this being used in medical schools and biology classes to give a greater understanding of our bodies than what is available with pictures and diagrams.

The only downside is you have to be using a WebGL-enabled browser to make this work, which means waiting until that feature is standard in your browser (Firefox 4 beta, Chrome 9, etc.) or making some adjustments to the browser you are using. [via Mashable]
