Remember that Kentucky Census Worker?

Remember Bill Sparkman, who was found hanging last September in a Kentucky tree with the word “FED” carved into his chest?  The one the FBI thought might have been the victim of anti-government sentiment?  Turns out it was a suicide.

Kentucky State Police Capt. Lisa Rudzinski said an analysis found that “fed” was written “from the bottom up.” He was touching the ground, and to survive “all Mr. Sparkman had to do at any time was stand up,” she said.

To further complicate a sad situation, Sparkman suffered from lymphoma, which seems intreatable and had earlier taken out two life insurance policies totaling $600,000 that would not pay out for suicide, authorities said.
