Alesh Houdek on climate change and environmentalism: “But increasingly, I think that it’s all going to work out. We’re going to be able to do what is necessary, which is not what Al Gore right now thinks is what is necessary. To get a whiff of what I’ve been smoking, you need to hold all of the following ideas in your head all at one time.” Most of the postulates Houdek lays out are certainly well thought out, even keeled and thoughts I’ve had rattling around this brain. But he articulates them much better than I ever could. It’s probably one of the better pieces I’ve read on the future of environmentalism in quite some time. Basically, be aware of what you’re doing to the environment, think about the ramifications of your actions and act accordingly.
