Man, when things don’t go right, they don’t go right. And we’re not talking politics. SJC just ruled 5-4, that the Environmental Protection Agency has the authority to set the emissions standards. From the AP:
WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court ordered the federal government on Monday to take a fresh look at regulating carbon dioxide emissions from cars, a rebuke to Bush administration policy on global warming.
In a 5-4 decision, the court said the Clean Air Act gives the Environmental Protection Agency the authority to regulate the emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from cars.
This breaking story will be updated.
Damn straight. Even Bush’s cronies in the SJC have jumped off the sinking ship.
