I had to attend a daylong conference in New Jersey yesterday and let me tell you, driving back to Boston in the middle of rush-hour traffic after a sleepless night in a hotel and a full day of shmoozing at a conference was rough.
I resorted to a drivers-seat dance party around hour 3 when it became clear that belting Adele songs wasn’t cutting it anymore. So without further ado, here’s a selection from my late night road trip playlist:
Wine and Chocolates–Theophilus London
XO–Beyonce (I won’t lie, Partition also got a few spins last night)
Kiss You–One Direction (Don’t look at me like that! I dare you to listen to this song and NOT dance)
Never Gonna Leave Me–Sia
Come Back Down–Greg Laswell (ft. Sara Bareilles)
You Make My Dreams–Hall & Oates
There were others, of course, but these are the ones I consistently return to when I’m planning to drive somewhere. Pretty much guaranteed to help you survive even the most grueling of road trips!
