On the 130th anniversary of the founding of Banco Sabadell, the fifth largest bank in Spain, they gathered 100 people from the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, the Lieder, Amics de l’Òpera and Coral Belles Arts choirs for a flashmob rendition of Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9”.
Typically, I’d say the flashmob thing was played out like three or four years ago, however, I’m willing to make the exception for a classical music flashmob because this is pretty atypical and just delightful. The performance was the culmination of the bank’s campaign “Som Sabadell” (We are Sabadell). [Thanks, Ratna!]
