After losing the double cash cow of Radiohead and The Rolling Stones, the record company EMI posted losses of £1.75bn. Basically, they are sinking ship with very few life boats to bail them out. So what do they decide to do?
There’s no indication of how much the studio would be worth, but you’d have to imagine it’s an astronomical figure. Really, wouldn’t it be fitting if both Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCarthy were able to partner up and purchase it?
