RATM unleash uncensored “Killing in the Name Of” on British Radio

By now, you’re probably aware of Rage Against the Machine’s suprising battle for England’s Christmas #1, well, today the band played their best-known hit song from 1992 on Radio Five Live’s Breakfast show.  And it did not go as planned.  As these things often do; especially when you consider the chorus of the song goes something like, “fuck you I won’t do what you tell me” ad infinitum.

“We asked them not to do it and they did it anyway,” said BBC presenter Shelagh Fogarty, regarding the barage of F-bombs the band unleashed onto the airwaves.

Currently, RATM is still in the lead for the coveted prize of Christmas #1.  Good times all around.

Paul McCartney has shown his support for real music backing RATM, Rage may not be to everyone’s taste they are band who have written their own music, built a loyal following and had a long successful career. ‘The Climb’ is a really bad song. There’s more about it here http://bit.ly/5XN2Dr
