San Diego’s Dirty Sweet should be back with a new album soon.  Of Beggars and Monarchs was one of my favs in 2007 and it’s timelessness still resonates. It’s a great collection of tunes.

This time around the guys are bearded up and kicking it in a mental hospital, which scary video aside, I’m digging the first sounds of their new album. “You’ve Been Warned” doesn’t stray too far from their tried and true bluesy Southern Rock formula.

Mixing and tracking has already been completed, but if you want to get an idea of the new songs, you can give a listen to a bevy of demos on their Acoustic Myspace.

The best way to see them, though, is on tour. These guys are real barn burners.
