The Jayhawks on Letterman back in 2003

Just figured I’d toss up some video from The Jayhawks, since that interview with Dodge made me realize how dear this band is. For me, there’s just this intense visual connection of living in Charleston, S.C. and listening to Rainy Day Music back in 2003.

That’s the mark of a truly great band, if their music instantly connects you to a specific moment or time in your life. It means they are unforgettable.
