Jack White really does love Detroit
So much so that The Raconteur and White Striper wrote a poem about it and sent it off to the Detroit Free Press. “The following poem is the Detroit from my mind,” he said. “The Detroit that is in my heart. The home that encapsulates and envelops those who are truly blessed with the experience of living within its boundaries.” So essentially, it’s a rose-tinted Detroit.
