Feist cleans up at Juno Awards
So if the Juno Awards are the Canadian version of the Grammy’s does that make them just as irrelevent? It’s a legitimate question for sure.
Regardless, Broken Social Scenester Feist, 32, cleaned up as expected at the awards show today. She took home five awards including Single, Artist, Pop Album, Songwriter, and Album of the Year. No surprise.
This basically is the alley-oop at the end of a 2007 blow out for Feist. Ever since Apple decided to use “1 2 3 4″ in one of their commercials she went from indie fav to your aunt’s favorite artist. Sad but true. Still, we love you Leslie!
Among other winners, modern-day crooner Michael Buble took home the Juno fan choice award, and later lamented good-naturedly to reporters about the attention Feist garners.
“I just kept kicking the shit out of myself for not writing “1234″ I could have crooned it,” he said before launching into a few bars a cappella.
Yup, that pretty much sums it up. Other Canadian artists won awards, but who cares right? They didn’t write “1 2 3 4.”

What’s funny is that she didn’t right 1 2 3 4 either.
