Can’t believe I missed this this morning. But Portland’s Elliott Smith, best known for his Oscar-nominated song “Miss Misery” from Good Will Hunting died five years ago (Oct. 21, 2003) today at age 34.
There is no way that words could even describe the impact his music has had on our life, like a comforting blanket draped over our shoulders during the long cold dark winter nights.
Still missed after all these years. The video below was shot the day after his death made the news.
