Blind: A Post-Apocalyptic Tokyo Short Film

Blind is a short film set in post-nuclear Tokyo. In this world, a young man’s daily commute takes a surreal turn. The film aims to provoke thoughts on pressing realities of the world, as it ends with the sentence, “Turning away from today’s reality will blind our future.”

The short was written & directed by Yukihiro Shoda and I was surprised by how deeply moving it was. Like the best futurism, the world of this short is similar to our own, but there are a few minor changes that prove gigantic. Great cinematography, integrated effects and a powerful message within the narrative. [via DesignTaxi]
