I fully recommend a documentary about Alan Turing, who was a WWII code breaker for England and basically started modern day computer science/artificial intelligence. And as a thanks for saving millions of lives from his code breaking skills, his country chemically castrated him for being gay. More people should know about his tragic life. [via kurzweil]
