“Let Me In” Trailer

Does there need to be a remake of the 2008 Swedish vampire flick Let the Right One In? Absolutely not, but if you’re going to remake it, you might as well find a director who cares about the property, cast excellent young actors, and really go for it.  And by all accounts of this trailer, director Matt Reeves has done just that.

I don’t think this trailer really divulges the heart of the movie, which is the friendship between the two young leads or how Abby (which is what she is named in the American remake) turns to a protector for the young boy who is being bullied at school.

Still, with the news that composer Michael Giacchino is on board (best composer working in Hollywood right now) to score the film, well, it probably won’t have an annoying meathead rock song in it.
