Ebert on Ebert

“I was a little surprised at the detail the article went into about the nature and extent of my wounds and the realities of my appearance, but what the hell. It was true. I didn’t need polite fictions,” writes Roger Ebert.

The Chicago Suntimes writer (hell the guy can’t possibly be consider just a film critic any longer) reflects on the fantastic Chris Jones profile in Esquire.

Only tangentially related: at what point do we begin to talk about Chris Jones as being a treasure as well?  That guy is a stud.
