Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning in a music biopic about Joan Jett’s early band. I’m interested in two things with this movie: one is acting related — whether Dakota Fanning can graduate to the big leagues as an adult and whether or not Kristen Stewart is going to show up sans her vacuous acting method; second, I hate standard biopics and fingers crossed this one doesn’t tread the same standard formulaic plot mechanisms.
