Left: Peter Orlovsky and his lover Allen Ginsberg, 1957. Right: Aaron Tveit and James Franco, as Orlovsky and Ginsberg, in the upcoming flick Howl. Franco, odd as this may sound, seems pretty perfect as a young Ginsberg. Even if he is much better looking.
The movie, filming now and directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, follows the obscenity trial of Ginsberg’s most famous poem.
