Things are really starting to gear up for promotions on the X-Files 2 front. Director and show creator Chris Carter attended the Paley Festival in Los Angeles and addressed some questions regarding the movie’s title, the plot and the pilot episode of spinoff show The Lone Gunmen, where a jet liner was hijacked and nearly crashed into the World Trade Center – the show debuted in March 2001.

Also, at the same event they debuted a new trailer for the movie, which someone was anticipating and captured for viewing pleasure. Unfortunately, that video was removed faster than Hitler from a synagogue. So you’ll just have to settle for a little q&a and the new one sheet after the jump.
