We about this close to calling 2008 the year of Neil Patrick Harris. Who’s with me?
He’s the reason for watching the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, he’s probs going to be the best thing about Harold & Kumar Dos, and if Joss Whedon gets his way, the titular star of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog will become an internet viral sensation.
In the three-episode musical (10-minutes each), NPH stars “a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to,” says Joss Whedon. Serenity’s Nathan Fillion represents as Captain Hammer, and insanely cute Buffy alum Felicia Day portrays the girl in the laundromat, Penny.
We’ve got a poster now, but no word on when we can expect to see this shebang.
