Sienna Miller is the baroness
Tabloid wonder girl Sienna Miller has been cast as The Baroness in director Steven Sommers adaptation of the Hasbro toy and 80’s cartoon G.I. Joe.
Not really sure what to make of this news, only to admit that some stories just don’t get us excited and the prospect of a live action G.I. Joe movie could be a great action flick or just stupid poop fodder.
We’re guessing with Steven Sommers and now Sienna Miller involved as C.O.B.R.A.’s main villianess, we’re leaning towards the latter.
This is the first casting news of this flick and not a good one. We doubt she can pull off the strange Russian/Hungarian/German accent. Here’s some background on the Baroness, more than you probably want to know.
All we’re saying is they should have gotten Jessica Biel or Jessica Alba or gone the cougar route, in other words Demi Moore, on this casting desion.
