Beer Tap Dispenses Beer Through the Bottom of the Cup

The Bottoms Up Beer Dispenser looks a bit like magic (possibly the devil?) because of the unique way it dispenses beer — through the bottom of the cup.  The cups are specially manufactured with a hole in the bottom that is then magnetically sealed.  And not content with a single revenue stream, the company will sell your business prime, boozy, real estate at the bottom of the cup.  Which, is admittedly, much better advertising real estate than a urinal cake.

Still, I couldn’t fathom drinking anything more than macro-brewed American lagers from this bad boy.  But, if, like the company claims, it dispenses beer nine times faster than your average tap, this would certainly be handy for dispensing $9 brews at sporting events.  [via laughingsquid]

When I see innovations like this, I feel sure that we will have a car that runs on air or a cure for cancer any day now.

I mean if humans can make beer dispense quickly from the bottom of the cup, surely we can nip cancer in the bud, no? But why setting for an air car, when you could have one that flies? Or goes back in time?
