Haagen Dazs Opens a Store in Dehli

HaagenDazsStop me if you’ve heard this joke before: an ice cream company opens a store in Dehli, India and decides it would make good business sense to have a “no Indians allowed” policy.

Oh wait, it’s not a joke.  As you can see with the photo on the left, it looks like it was just for the store preview, but still, the sign on the door reads, “Access restricted only to holders of international passports.” 

Word is the policy was quickly dropped and never mentioned again once the franchise realized that denying your largest customer base as policy makes no sense on any level (rascism, fiduciary, ethics, etc., etc.).  [via]
