Art in the Era of the Internet

PBS Off Book is quickly becoming our favorite thing on the Internet. They first popped up on our radar with their excellent “history of the animated GIF“. We’re still staggered by the notion that it’s pronounced with a soft “g” sound, as in “jif” and not a hard “g”.

Anyway, the latest video looks at the evolution of art in the era of the Internet, by interviewing the likes of Kickstarter co-founder Yancey Strickler and Creative Commons co-founder Lawrence Lessig.
