Andy Samberg and Neil Gaiman Offer Graduation Advice

SNL’s Andy Samberg delivered a fairly hilarious speech to Harvard’s Class Day as part of commencement weekend. Within 20-minutes he busted out impressions of Nic Cage, Mark Zuckerberg, Marky Mark, and Montell WilliamsJordan’s “This Is How We Do It”. He also had some decent advice for the graduates.

Author Neil Gaiman offered up something a little more serious to the 2012 graduating class of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

“Go and make interesting mistakes, make amazing mistakes, make glorious and fantastic mistakes. Break rules. Leave the world more interesting for your being here. Make. Good. Art,” he told them. There’s also a lot of other wisdom sprinkled throughout his speech.

Both of these make nice companions to Aaron Sorkin’s speech to Syracuse University earlier this month.
