Zombie Fortress

Wow, someone actually went and built a zombie fortress for a home. The modern house, designed by  KWK Promes, has only one entrance which is a drawbridge, has a security wall lining the property and can go into lockdown mode at a moment’s notice.

It’s designed to resemble to offer the owners the feeling of maximum security. [via allthatisinteresting]

Too many windows. The only zombie proof home would be a star fort with 1 entrance, 15 ft walls, all walls are mutually supporting, 8 ft moat, dry, with no lip to grab on to at base of walls, double portcullis with fire pits. Cleared fields of fire up to 100 yards around the property.

Also outside terrain sculpted or shaped to funnel the zombies towards choke points where overlapping weapons will do the most damage.

Hmmm, you've definitely put more thought into this than I have. But when the zombie attack comes, I will give you a call!
